Who we are

moring, Inc. (“moring”, “we”, “us”) operates the moring.ai website (the “Site”). moring is the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

This notice explains what personal information moring collects through the Site, why moring has it, who else sees it, and what you can ask moring to do about it.

What information moring collects

moring collects personal information that you give voluntarily. moring does not build a profile of your browsing and does not buy contact data from third parties.

Information you give moring

• Workshop registration: your name, work email, company, role, and anything you write in the message field.
• Whitepaper and resource downloads: your name, work email and company.
• Contact and partner enquiries: your name, work email, company, and your message.
• Job applications: your name, contact details, your CV, and anything else you choose to send.
• Email correspondence: whatever you write to moring, and moring’s replies.

Sensitive information. moring does not ask for and does not process sensitive personal information, such as health data, religious or political beliefs, or biometric data. Please do not send it.

How moring uses your information

moring uses the information you give it to:

• reply to the enquiry you sent;
• send you the resource you asked for;
• register you for a workshop and follow up about it;
• assess your application if you apply for a role;
• discuss a partnership if you asked about one;
• send you email about moring, only where you have agreed to receive it;
• keep the records the law requires moring to keep; and
• keep the Site secure and prevent misuse.

moring does not sell personal information. moring does not use it for advertising or profiling, and does not make decisions about you by automated means.

Legal bases for processing

If you are in the UK or the EU, moring relies on the following legal bases.

• Consent, for marketing email. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to nikhil.devlapur@moring.ai.
• Legitimate interests, in replying to a business enquiry you started and in keeping the Site secure.
• Steps before entering a contract, for job applications and partner discussions.
• Legal obligation, where a law requires moring to keep a record.

If you are in India, moring relies on your consent, or on the legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

When and with whom moring shares your information

moring shares personal information with service providers that perform work on moring’s instructions. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. The categories are:

• Cloud computing services
• Communication and collaboration tools
• Data storage service providers
• Human resources and recruitment tools
• Sales and marketing tools
• Website hosting service providers
• Government entities, where the law requires disclosure
• Professional advisers, under a duty of confidence

moring does not share personal information with ad networks, retargeting platforms, affiliate programmes, social networks, data brokers or analytics providers.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses only the cookies needed to make it work. moring does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any technology that follows you across other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the Site will still work.

International transfers

moring, Inc. is incorporated in the United States and has team members in India. moring works with customers in the United Arab Emirates, India, the United States and Europe. Your information may be handled in any of those countries.

Where information moves out of the UK or the EEA, moring relies on the transfer safeguards permitted under applicable law, including standard contractual clauses. To ask which safeguard applies to you, write to nikhil.devlapur@moring.ai.

How long moring keeps your information

moring keeps personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

• Enquiry, workshop and download records: kept while there is an active enquiry or business relationship, and reviewed periodically after that.
• Marketing contacts: kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.
• Job applications: kept for 12 months after the role closes, unless you ask moring to keep your details on file for future openings.

When there is no longer a reason to hold it, moring deletes the information or removes what identifies you.

How moring keeps your information safe

moring uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, and limits access to the people who need it for their work. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so moring cannot guarantee absolute security.

Information from minors

The Site is for business use. moring does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given moring information, write to nikhil.devlapur@moring.ai and moring will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask moring to:

• confirm whether it holds information about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete it;
• stop or limit a particular use;
• send it to you or to another provider in a portable format; and
• stop sending you marketing, at any time.

Write to nikhil.devlapur@moring.ai. moring will respond within the period the applicable law allows, and will not charge you for a routine request.

UK and EU. If you are not satisfied with how moring handles your request, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

India. You can raise a grievance at nikhil.devlapur@moring.ai, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

California. You can ask what personal information moring collects about you, ask for it to be deleted, and ask for it to be corrected. moring does not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law, and does not treat anyone differently for exercising these rights.

Do-not-track signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no agreed industry standard for responding to it. moring does not track visitors across websites, so there is nothing for the signal to switch off.

Customer data in moring engagements

This notice covers the moring.ai website. It does not cover personal data moring handles inside a customer environment while delivering the Services.

In that work moring acts on the customer’s instructions as a processor. The customer’s data, prompts and keys stay in their perimeter, and moring does not require them to be moved out. Those arrangements are set by the signed SOW and any data processing addendum. See the terms of service.

If you think a moring customer holds information about you, contact that customer. moring will pass on any request it receives.

Updates to this notice

moring may update this notice. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. Where a change materially affects how moring handles information you have already given, moring will tell the people affected.
